McDonald's fries in Frontierland

I've come to the conclusion that I'm the only person alive who thinks In n' Out's burgers are completely overrated. I gave them another chance on a recent trip to Tahoe and thought the burger was mediocre and the fries tasted like chalk. Never again.

If a California fast-food buger chain were to come to DLR my vote would be for Super Duper Burgers.

I don't like them either. Everything there is subpar. The little burgers have no flavor. Neither do the fries for that matter and they stick to the container. Gross. Oh, but you're not doing it right. You're supposed to get it with thousand island dressing! I don't know why everyone boasts about it and why the places are always more crowded than Space Mountain's exit area. I think it's one of those things Californians hold in high regard and refuse to just admit that it's mediocre pap. Or maybe they just don't know any better?

I really think it's the atmosphere. The place has a fun, energetic vibe to it and the employees are great. And there's something psychologically lifting about their use of color! :) I agree the burgers are bland (and grossly messy). The fries I can take or leave.

Next time, order the grilled cheese and a shake. :)

You're not into Burgerville, Constance? Most Oregonians seem to rave about it. I didn't when I was one. I think I only went there 2 or 3 times in my 13 years of being an Oregonian.

I don't have one near me, but next time we're in Portland we'll have to check it out! I've seen them there. Do you still live in Oregon?

The chalk was the special seasoning. Dont hate until you've gotten the full flavor of blackboard in your stomach region.

I can remember when I was a kid at WDW, waiting for the cart between POTC and Splash Mountain to open so we could get fries. Dumb. Pecos Bill's with the toppings bar was right there!

I remember this and while I like McDonald's fries it really didn't belong in FL in a big cart with the arches on it IMO. I would be ok with them in restaurants that sell fries though but in a more passive way or even use In N Out burger fries or something. I don't think Disney wants to pay for that though which is why they most likely make their own.

This is what I'm thinking...

It's a ride and a burger stand, and the waiting is 100% authentic. It could work... :D
