Got to see the matrix revolutions film yesterday!!!!!!!!!! (Pre-show, before everyone!!! ha ha ha)

It is very good but has less fighting scenes!

I think the second is the best but i still recommend you see this movie!

Wow...talk about conflicting reviews between you and Dan

I'll have to see it for myself...but I myself can't see how the second compares to the first at all...the first was revolutionary...

OK, why, if these films were filmed back to back, is their a different actress playing the Oracle????

According to reviews this isn't addressed in the movie...

Matrix Reloaded

Matrix Revolutions

The Original Oracle Died during the Making of 2.
(no, not on the set...during filiming)...

I mean... she passed away... right before Reloaded wrapped and went into post production... but they did not shoot any Revolutions scenes with her... before she passed away.

I just confused myself...LOL

My opinion/belief:

The Matrix----> great movie

Reloaded ----> by itself it lacked a story, basically they threw in philosophy (which is ok) with great action sequences, but the lack of a storyline stood out and made the movie good but not as good as the first. (Combined with the third part it makes for a great story, but Reloaded cannot stand alone).

Revolutions--->Better than the second...beautifully filmed....the scenes are incredible and poetic...the end leaves you a bit bothered...I think they could've done a better job, perhaps made the movie fifteen minutes longer (put everything together better..it seemed like the movie was rushed at the end)...but if you think about it what other way could it have ended...

BTW Neo has been "The One" since the first movie...so in many ways Neo is Jesus and any other savior figure...as a whole The Matrix trilogy has alot of reference to buddhism (lifes an illusion) and eastern theology/philosophy...but it also applies to other religions aswell...I think if anything that is something good about this movie...especially since it makes people think....not alot of movies can do that :p

It was addressed briefly in the movie...to me it was ok the way they were able to write in the difference of oracles in the story...its the same oracle only she's in a different "shell".

:D

Thanks DMC-12, someone just pointed out an old update from digitalmediafx.com which gave the details.

I never even noticed the Date of Death listed on her IMDB profile. :(

Actually they did crack jokes....

I just thought the third movie missed something, I don't know what.... :brick: :brick: :brick:

Maybe originality...... But here is my ranking:

#1: 9/10 not too much action but great story
#2: 9.5/10 would've given it a ten if it didn't lack story to it!
#3: 6/10 the worst one in my opinion! Crappy ending and hardly any action... This should be under the drama category!

As I said in the other thread, I loved it, it was awesome!:sohappy: The only thing that bothered me about the movie, was the ending. How can you have peace with the machines, when the machines need the energy from people?
