Supposedly the original was written with an open end to be made into a trilogie if it was successful. 2 & 3 are being done back to back so the characters will at least all be consistent. In this case, instead of saying "stop the sequels" you should be saying: Stop the trilogies! Stop the trilogies! Stop the... you get the idea ;)

Blah...didn't like Matrix at all anyways.

I do think certain movies are deserving of being trillogies though...Lord of the Rings for example. I mean where would ya be without all three books on screen?

And even with being slightly disapointed w/ Star Wars Episode 1 I think it's one of the stories that you have to finish telling.

And of course there is the GREATEST trillogy of all time! EVIL DEAD! Sure the third was garbage but it's funny as all hell! :D

BUT the Matrix?! Come on!

eh HEM..Army of darkness was NOT garbage...granted it was crap compaired to #2..but still....

I hear ya..I picked up the new DVD of ED1 the other day...i really should stop buying DVDs and instead buy FOOD..right?

I'm scrounging up money for a DVD player of my own still but ED is first on my list. My friends got 2 on DVD. It's a shame thats the only one out of the three he liked...I mean I can understand 2 is clearly the best but 1 is a classic and AoD is BC at his best!

Ya know I actually got hooked on ED by first playing the video game and then buying the action figures...and then the movies lol. :D Give me a break I didn't even know the movies existed lol. I just went out one nite and rented all 3. :D

when you get to college..especially ART college..you are going to realize that the ED series is quite QUITE large ...hehe...

I have been a follower of ED even before AOD came out (sad eh?)..and as you know..I met Bruce..and he is in fact..my favorite actor..for good reason. He rocked in the Majetic..and he is going to be the MAN in spiderman (even for only a few seconds)

As for ED, Bruce is the KING! He was great in Spider-Man, and my brother just got "Fistfull of Boomstick" for his PS2. GREAT game, even though I was disappointed to see they don't mention AoD, it almost seems as if they didn't get the rights for it, only 1 and 2, which doesn't really make any sense...
Oh, and the game comes with a bit of a making of, and you can see Bruce talking about what he liked best in the game. Very funny!

I've waited long enough for the trilogy to come out in DVD down here, so I'll be importing it next month... :D

I still think the movie was garbage :D the visual effects were ok...the CG Neo needed a LOT of work..and they used WAY too much slice of life ;)
