This is an odd rumor. Logic tells me it is for the break room or something similar.
On a side note, did anyone else think the title meant the OP was suggesting Disney was planning on adding massaging chairs to ride cars? :lol:

Disney still doesn't use Smart Carte for their lockers though.

Exactly what I was thinking. If these are going to be anywhere out in the public areas, then these are just going to look so tacky and trashy.
Like you'd find at a cheap strip mall.

If they are in the Tomorrowland Arcade then they should fit in well with the theme- Tacky and Trashy.

I second that (though I've never encountered a charge for international arrival, just domestic)... and just wait until your next US airline flight, by then they'll probably charge you just to use your tray table.

Their breakroom has a friggin arcade in it.
Must be nice to live in the turn of the century.
Just know that in the future... breakrooms are half-thought holes in the wall at the Galactic Federation Facilities.
As for the massage chairs, I assume that they are going into the exit area.

My friend used to work at Space and took me in their break room, it was very small (and really pretty dumpy), not enough room for more than one of those things.

its obvious this is the NEW and improved Space Mountain Refurb we have heard about..lol.. They will just gut the building and have massage chairs everywhere

Since the post show is supposed to be themed to your arrival at a space port, I assume they might have use in something like that. Maybe like a futurist airport, which has massage chairs, shoe shines, etc.
Purely a guess on my part though
Shoe shines are not futuristic.

Now I don't know the politics of WDW Cast Member assignments, but I would think as far as ride operations goes Space Mountain would be a fairly cushy post. Most Space Mountain CMs at least work in the air conditioning. I imagine anyone running Dumbo in the dead of summer would rather bathe in blue queue area light than the blistering Florida sun.
Though working Dumbo would have it's own charm.
