Marvel's Hawkeye D+ Show

Well, Kate irritated me, so with Renner gone, I really have no reason to watch Season 2, and I have a feeling others will feel the same way.

The watchers of the first season skewed female, and I first watched it because of the Christmas theme and because Renner is sexy. I wonder how many others watched for the same reasons.

Not smart to leave him out of season 2.

This feels a little like hubris from Disney, like they know better and will tell their audiences what to like/clear the way for the new guy (girl, in this case), and I say this as a liberal woman who is very big on progressive social movements and loved Miss Marvel and enjoyed the hell out of She Hulk.

I could be wrong, but 🤷🏼‍♀️

While offering Renner half would indicate a planned second season, there has been not any announcement of such a second season. No writers or directors tapped for it.

You'd think Disney woulda learned from what Chapek did to ScarJo.

My thoughts are this was mostly a feeler to see how interested he was in a potential second season. I'm guessing the pay cut was more about him having a reduced role with Kate being the lead.
