That interviewer also kind of set the cast up by asking if it would be gay. If they say "NO" they will come across as homophobic or fearful of representation and if they say "Yes!" they are destined to get the clicks and rage of the anti-woke crowd.

Can't they just say,
I think we made a show that everybody will like. Everyone worked really hard and we're really happy with how it turned out. I think everyone's going to really love it.

Aubrey Plaza literally said her heart beats for Agatha right before licking Agatha's hand! That's not remotely subtle.
