MK Marty Sklar in Fantasyland

Holy crap, my wife and I are in Bonjour Village Gifts and saw Marty Sklar!! Not sure who he was with, almost positive it was a couple of high level muckety-mucks. Highlight of almost any WDW vacation so far!!!

Side note - He's definitely looking older, and was walking with a cane.

Oh, well he is one of the best imagineers of all time who helped build every park except Disneyland and was a main designer of classics like the tiki room and its a small world. He is retired but also appointed a Disney legend.

I saw Marty at Coronado Springs a few years back, but I had that "I know its him but if theres that 1% chance Im wrong and go up to this guy wearing the Marty name tag and introduce myself and its not him its gonna be awkward!" So I didn't say anything, but it was still cool to see him. Last year on my honeymoon I ran into Bob Gurr and Tony Baxter in Epcot ( hence my profile pic ) and had that same worry, but my wife was like "Move over, Im going over there!" So she introduced us and we took a couple photos. We then also met Tom Fitzgerald at Star Tours that same week and my wife took charge to get us some photos with him as well. So the moral of this story...Get married.
