Hopefully it's real, but there are a lot of people who do 'clever' things (lather up and shave, play Monopoly, etc.) like this at Disneyland's Splash Mountain to create cool on ride photos, so I wouldn't be too surprised if it's fake.

(I mean fake in that no one is actually proposing to the girl in the front, not that it's an altered image.)

The Disneyland logs fit seven (7) actually. There are five single seats in a row, and then the back seat is much wider and can fit two people, for a total of seven.

Previous to the adoption of the five single seats and double back seat around 2005, the Disneyland logs had three long compartments that could fit up to 9 or 10 people depending how big they were.

The log in this picture has six people in it, with one guy sitting alone in the double-wide seat in the back row. This type of stuff happens a lot at the Disneyland Splash Mountain, as WDWFigment mentioned. People bring props with them and set up funny photos and stuff. It's kind of a famous thing for college kids to do in SoCal on a Saturday night.

Yeah it's real, why wouldn't it be? The question is whether or not the girl is actually on the log. Maybe she's freaked out with this kind of stuff and is in the picture viewing area waiting to meet up with her group. In reality it probably is the girl in the front unless she went to Disneyland alone. :shrug:
