I'm so new at this, but I figured I'd give it a go.
This is from Tuesday, June 5, 2007.
Parked at Epcot, got a new AP because the old one went through the laundry. The CM was so nice about it too. Went on SSE and then took the monorail to MK.
SSE notes: A lot of fiber optic effects weren't working, don't know how long that's been happening. I think everyone knows about the Seimens audio before/after the ride. It was cutting out both times I rode SSE, so I'm assuming it wasn't just a one time thing and that the audio actually does cut out like this for every guest. It goes a little something like this at the end: " [CUTS OUT IN THE BEGINNING] you enjoyed your journey aboard Spaceship Earth." So basically she's telling me that I enjoyed my journey, the usual "we hope..." part in the beginning gets cut out, and it just sounds bad.
Monorail to MK took a little bit, there was a lot of Traffic. Walked into MK as the parade was going on.
Gotta love the attention to detail that Disney has. The "secret" parade speakers that blast the Dreams Come True audio through Main Street.
During and After the parade...
Ate at the rebellious Peco Bill's. The reason I say it's rebellious is because it went against everything Disney that day. It was extremely gross and dirty. Had the rudest CM at the register, who simply said "No." when I handed her my AP for the [Non-existent] food discount. She was yelling at a lady behind me that couldn't speak English. The receipts were lacking the large, homogenizing "Disney Parks" logo header at the top. The bathrooms were really, really, really bad. It just wasn't a good day for Peco Bill's. :hurl:
Saw the Pirate Tutorial for the first time. It was nice. Pirates of the Caribbean holds a steady wait as it was 40 minutes. Hook and Smee were out as always. I had Smee go fetch me some [nuts].
Country Bear Jamboree needs new audio. It sounded like they were using casette tapes, it was really bad. HM had a pretty long wait for it's hourly capacity. It was up to 40 minutes when I saw it, it was HM's last day before closing for the summer.
Did MILF, the queue was cool, as was the briefing room. It was funnier than I thought it would be. Animation was still kind of choppy, but it was a pretty funny show.
The TTA really needs some TLC. Space Mountain was down. The lights were on when we went through it. [ ] COP was working good as new. No animatronic problems, no audio problems, it was just perfect. The CM didn't call it COP though, when he did his briefing... "Welcome to Walt Disney's 21 minutes of air-conditioned bliss." We were also lucky enough to get the refurbished theater.
Random picture of the abandoned Tomorrowland Skyway.
MORE TO COME...
