Wow this is great news!
But wait, once this bridge is complete, what is going to happen with the parking near Congress Park buildings at Saratoga? With DTD parking the way it is, suddenly hundreds of cars per day will "have a tee time at the LBV golf club", or "are having lunch at Turf Club"...

and don't even get me started (again) about all the non-SSR guests filling up their busses to get to DTD from the parks *sigh*

on a more positive note... the work at Disney Springs sure is moving along nicely!

All they would have to do is check room keys? EDIT

All they would need is to swipe your magic band?

It is a very very long walk however. Probably a mile or more to get to marketplace from the bridge. The boat would probably be faster.

It really depends on where you're starting from and where you're headed.

This new bridge will really only cut off about 0.2 miles from the walk from Congress Park to the Marketplace. It'll also keep the pedestrians away from having to cross the driveway where the buses come into the Marketplace stops. (Though those will eventually be relocated elsewhere in Disney Springs, but presumably they'll want to keep pedestrians away from whatever will be going into the spot where the bus stops are now)

But if you're in the West Side and heading to the Grandstand section of SSR, the walkway beyond Cirque is far shorter.
