March or May?

We may have an opportunity to go to the World in 2010 (yay pin code!) and have 2 windows of opportunity.

What do you think would be the benefits/drawback of each of these months? We're thinking either Mid March or very early May.

Thanks for any insight

may is great

We are going the very end of April into May. We went the same time 2 yrs ago it was great warm enough for the water parks. Rain fall is not so bad rain only once for a few min. The amount of people at the park was great I also got a pin for just registering on Disney got 40% off our Hotel. We got 1,500.00 back we are one happy family. We went in march it was nice but a little cool sometimes for swimming.

May Definitely! We always go in early May for mine and DH's birthdays (May 9th & 10th). I have been during all times of the year and I have to say this is my favorite time to go. Those first two weeks in May are great b/c it isn't unbearably hot. Also, the longest line we have had during that time was maybe 15 minutes, most everything was walk on.

My family and I went late april/early may last year and we plan on doing it again this year! Beautiful weather, medium to light crowds, and Flower and Garden Fest. So far it is our favorite time to go!

May! Forwarning though, I was there this past May and it rained EVERY DAY ALL DAY. But May is the rain season. I still had a great time though.

We also went this past May but the amount of rain was not typical. In past years we had very little rain in May. We plan on going again next May. We have been in March and it is more crowded with spring break.

Another vote for May!

In 2007, we went about the second week of May, and enjoyed decent weather (some showers) with highs in the upper 80's.

Crowds were fairly low - its after Spring Breaks but before the summer rush begins. Plus you get the Flower and Garden Festival at Ecpot, which is really a great event with all of the flower and other displays throught the park.

Enjoy your trip!

The rain this past May was CRAZY! of the 8 days I was there, it rained 7 of the days. It was beautiful sunshine 24 hours before I left, lol. I remember the day before I left, I went to Epcot and it was a monsoon. It happened as soon as I arrived around 4pm. But on the flip side, everyone left. So every ride in Future World was walk on.

I like the rain at Disney. For some reason, people leave. I stay and enjoy the shorter (if any) waiting times.

We also went this past May 9-16...we did have some rain, but mostly during the night....I don't remember any during the day when we were in the parks....The lines were very good to us..the only one being long was Soarin'......The weather was on the warm side, but from Louisiana we're used to it........I definitely say go for May!!!!

Already planned our next trip for May 2010, we became DVC members this summer and bought into Bay Lake Tower.....CAN NOT WAIT!!!!!!!

HAVE A NICE TRIP!!!!
