March crowds - help needed.

Hi there everyone - I can’t believe this but I might have the chance to go to Disney in just 41 days - yes 41 days - I’ve always had a countdown number in its hundreds!

I always go in November and I’ve heard horror stories of spring break - I don’t know why I’m not just jumping right in and booking - it’s like a dream come true - but Spring break is making me have reservations

Can anyone throw any light on how bad it might be or if I go with an open mind will it be ok?
Looking to travel 19th March for 10 days - touring plans looks like medium crowds for first week and then weekend crowd levels hit 10 and remain that way for the second half of the holidays into Easter.

It’s either this or a holiday elsewhere and I know where my heart takes me!

I am travelling again in Novemeber this year for 14 days so it’s not like I won’t get to Disney this year so this would be a bonus

I’m going to need to make my mind up quickly so I don’t loose the holiday or the price

Thanks for all help and comments/thoughts

We will be there 12th March for 10 nights!

This time of year is new to me and I don’t have my ticket reference number yet to book any fast passes but I’m not going to panic - all of this trip is a bonus so I’m pretty chilled out.

Might see some of you there!

Always wanted to do flower and garden so pretty excited about seeing all the flowers - I’ve seen pictures but I’m sure it looks amazing in real life!

Yay! I'll be there March 10-17. Have you seen the menus for the outdoor kitchens? It looks soooo good. I'm trying to figure out how to plan our last day, March 16th. I really want to do both of the scavenger hunts that begin that day before we leave. So I switched that day to be Epcot in the morning and HS in the early afternoon. But I'm wondering if I can talk my husband into skipping HS that day so we can spend time on the hunts bc we have plans to go later in the afternoon to the St. Paddy's Day event at Raglan Road. What to do....?! I think I'm doing the panicking for you LOL.

Yes I spotted them yesterday. I’m not a big food person, I’m pretty fussy and don’t like so many things - the only thing I wanted to try that I’d seen in other reports was the purple frozen lemonade.

Thanks for the tip about the scavenger hunts they sound fun so I might look them up.

I’m sure whatever you decide it will work out - if you can get everything you want to do in HS done another day then you might be able to skip it - or maybe just go back for a few hours to do the rides - try not to panic - You’ll have fun no matter what.

You can look to the week they blackout some of the passholders to see the week they expect to get the most non-passholder traffic. I'm pretty sure that is the week my kids have spring break, 26th - 31st. If we were going down then, we'd head down Friday the 23rd. The following weekend is Easter, which is also busy. The week before should be good. I think our spring break was a week early last year and the crowds were not too bad - we spent 4 nights at Poly. Our problem was that my wife was sick when we got there, and I got sick while we were there, through when we left.

As others have said, rope drop mornings and use the FP+. Afternoons relaxing. Fireworks will be crowded, especially towards the end of your trip. You might have some luck getting on rides the hour or so before park closing - I've had late-waking friends have success with that those weeks.

I've been on some busy days. Adjust expectations with the crowd levels and the magic's still there.

Thank you for these tips - you’ve put my mind at rest
I have decided if all else fails I’ll be sitting with an ice cream on the grass hub in front of Cinderella Castle #heaven
