March crowds - help needed.

Hi there everyone - I can’t believe this but I might have the chance to go to Disney in just 41 days - yes 41 days - I’ve always had a countdown number in its hundreds!

I always go in November and I’ve heard horror stories of spring break - I don’t know why I’m not just jumping right in and booking - it’s like a dream come true - but Spring break is making me have reservations

Can anyone throw any light on how bad it might be or if I go with an open mind will it be ok?
Looking to travel 19th March for 10 days - touring plans looks like medium crowds for first week and then weekend crowd levels hit 10 and remain that way for the second half of the holidays into Easter.

It’s either this or a holiday elsewhere and I know where my heart takes me!

I am travelling again in Novemeber this year for 14 days so it’s not like I won’t get to Disney this year so this would be a bonus

I’m going to need to make my mind up quickly so I don’t loose the holiday or the price

Thanks for all help and comments/thoughts

I went the first week in March once a few years ago and it was low crowds. This year I'm going March 10th and everything I've read shows that week to be extremely busy. But everything I read shows crowds are busy any time of the year anyway so I won't let that stop me LOL. I love the Flower and Garden Festival. The weather is more management and doesn't have the humidity that I've experienced in October. If you have the chance, do it LOL!

Thanks - I don’t think there are low crowds anymore either - the suggestion of this trip came out of the blue and will come up quickly and you know what planners we all are on here I haven’t done any homework for this time of year!

Also the 60 day fast pass window has already opened so I’m not sure what might be left but that won’t stop me if we can work this out - thanks for your thoughts who knows I might see you there!

Yes
How I see it, Disney is always going to be busy. There is rarely a downtime anymore. Figure out a plan for yourself and stick with it. Don't let crowds deter you away from the parks, you can always find something to do. I literally just booked a trip last week for the first week of March. We made a plan, got all the fastpasses and ADRs that we needed. Just do it if you really want to, you know you will have fun with or without crowds.

We leave on March 17th though. I had to rearrange my carefully planned schedule bc the two scavenger hunts at Epcot begin March 16th. So we're going back to do that before going to Disney Springs for the St. Paddy's Day celebration. Waiting for Raglan Road to release their entertainment schedule. At least Disney FINALLY released the menus for the Flower & Garden food kiosks!

We went the last week of March and first week of April last year. Weekdays were good, but weekends were crazy.

Ahh!! When are you going!?!

I'm glad you booked your trip! I love going in March Flower and Food/Garden is a great time to go. We will be there the week before you!

When will you be there? My trip starts March 10th.

We will be there 12th March for 10 nights!

This time of year is new to me and I don’t have my ticket reference number yet to book any fast passes but I’m not going to panic - all of this trip is a bonus so I’m pretty chilled out.

Might see some of you there!

Always wanted to do flower and garden so pretty excited about seeing all the flowers - I’ve seen pictures but I’m sure it looks amazing in real life!
