I think with your paths having an expansion of Frontierland (with the peoplemover built into it) in the northwest corner of the park (similar to the Galaxy's Edge placement in DL) would be good. That way similar to the Tomorrowland 75 expansion with Space Mountain, the WEDWay doesn't need to push into existing structures like in Pirates or Mansion, it would allow for a more seamless view into the rides in that area.Anybody have more ideas on stuff to add to or improve RA or TTA in this area?
I wasn't meaning that you had to take those windows out, I was just saying that rather than being added years later, the new Frontierland expansion could be built with the peoplemover in mind, similar to Space Mountain, so that the views are not just through windows. So pull the track out of POTC? and HM? My intent is to lay the ride up against POTC..basically just cutting in windows. It will be exterior to POTC on its own supports not using the POTC building, just traveling over it then looking down through windows. For the HM if I by pass it then I can run along the backside of ISW same way as POTC and view it from the opposite side of the ride, less structural issues, I like that. I'll have a revised track plan in a minute.
Yep, Maintenance bay is a problem the track would still have to be supported on steel piers in a cantilever fashion, foundations would be in the access roadway behind the ride building.I wasn't meaning that you had to take those windows out, I was just saying that rather than being added years later, the new Frontierland expansion could be built with the peoplemover in mind, similar to Space Mountain, so that the views are not just through windows.
The only problem I see with the small world windows is the maintenance bay is in the back
Kinda blurry but this is the basic layoutAnyone have drawings for the Mermaid ride? I haven't been able to find an accurate one yet. All I can find is pre-expansion layout which does not match what we actually got.
The only problem with that viewing triangle is that that area is dark. That is the transition between Ursula and the Kiss the Girl scene. It is dark with guests coming up out of the "water" with the bubbles. It is probably the least interesting scene in the ride (coming from a HUGE fan of both of these attractions).Got a Mermaid Layout from several people so here is how I will try to handle that areaView attachment 267786
I don't know how deep the facade/ rockwork/ Eric's Castle is but potentially in that area going over/ crossing the loading/ unloading area? By bringing the pathway through the attraction instead of behind it guests could get a view of the Under the Sea scene and the finale waving scene. It could then connect up again where you have the third viewing triangle (going left to right on the path).Suggestion on relocating it?
