Making Magic with MJ

Me too.
I've started using the library more, or just passing my books on after reading them. I hate letting go of them, but we only have so much room.
We have the same problem - I had to put a lot of them away in boxes...
Our library has an exchange program too where they sell used books for $1.00. It's really dangerous at this time of yeqr - everybody brings in their summer reading books....

I'm back!

(prayers for Jess , Betty and Dot)

Hi Bunny Betty and Dot and Jess if you are here. Did I miss anyone? If I did Hi.

Hi Susan!
And thanks for the prayers.
I feel so stupid though. . .my problem is really small compared to what others are going through.
I'll be okay with it!

I either pass my books on if I don't want to keep them and read them again. Or I will sell them to the half price book store. At least I get part of my money back.

Bye Bunny

I take it you haven't decorated yet. What kind of cake is it?
I've never made one before, but it's going to be a chocolate mousse cake. I've made the mousse, and I found these cool pans that are kind of like an elongated bundt pan, so once everything cools, I'll put the mousse between the two cake layers.

Problems are problems no matter big or small. When they are our own problems they seem huge. Maybe small to some people but big to us. I know that from experiance.(sp) Love you

I'm here but headed or bed. Yup--it's 8:15 here. I've got about an hour of stuff to do in my bedroom to get ready for my WDW trip!!

Just increased my hours at work, and it's really kicking me. I am covering for another person, and it doesn't look like she will be replaced any time soon. I am a good soldier, so I will stay as long as necessary, but I sure wish we had some viable candidates.

Yay for the trip, if you see us shout hi! Prayers for you about work.

Good morning! DS' birthday today! :sohappy:

Mrning Betty, happy birthday DS

Good Morning girls...

Happy Bday Betty's DS!!! :)

Today is our first attempt at visitation... I have to give up my girly for 5 hours... which I'm having a VERY hard time with... UGHHH i hate hollywood... i have these nightmares that he's gonna take her and run... *sigh* anyway...

if i seem on edge this morning... I am. lol

Morning Jess, HUGS, IM or call me if you need anything, I'll be on my cell

OK, I guess I’m ready to talk about this all now…..
Most of you know what my job has been for the past 71/2 years, and know that it hasn’t been easy at times and at times I’ve considered quitting. But I never have – I couldn’t do that to the kids, especially the youngest 2. In fact my boss begged me back in August to stay with it because in his words, I was the only maternal influence they have had. So dispite my better instincts and the wishes of my own family, I stayed with it all summer again.

Fast forward to August 28th, the day before school started for them:
On my way into the church to count money with the secretary, my boss meets me on the stairway with an envelope in his hand. He tells me how he had only budgeted to pay me ‘til the end of August, so he wouldn’t be needing me anymore. I had assumed I’d still be working with them after school, Saturdays, and evenings when he had meetings, but he said no, they’d be OK alone. I can’t tell you how crushed I was! He was just so cold and business-like, as if the only reason I was there was for a paycheck.

I’ve been struggling through this for the past couple of weeks, so I apologize if I’ve been a bit anti-social with everyone. The wounds are healing though, and as much as I really really miss the kids, I know it’s all for the best (DH is loving having me home to cook for a change). I’m in the process of trying to find another job, so keep me in your prayers about that!

Hugs Betty. I wondered what was wrong, I'll be praying for you.

Good morning!

Morning Krystyna, hugs

No. I expected, and really wanted, to be busy.
But this is insanely busy.
It is a very, very physically demanding job and I don't know if I have the stamina for it. *sighs*
I'm so disappointed.

Awwww, hugs Dottie, I'm here if you need to talk

Or how about a book store? You'd be perfect for that!

I was gonna say that!

I ran out of bookcases at out house... Marc suggested that I stop bringing homeso many books... uh. no.

Most of mine are still in boxes and I gave away about 20 boxes of them when we movied...

We know you and we love you Dot!
