Making CDs.....

Hey everybody

I'm gonna make CD's of music for all the parks. I think I'll start with Epcot, or maybe Disney-MGM Studios. I'm not sure. Anyway, i need suggestions from everybody on what songs to include on the CD's. Even if I've never heard it, I'll try listening to a song to see if i want to use it. For an Epcot CD, I definitely know I want:

Illuminations
Tapestry of Nations
We Go On
Celebrate the Future
Golden Dream
Horizons-Space

Well, I guess that's everything I know I've gotta have, now I'm open for suggestions! Ohh yeah, and I've got Kazaa, so hopefully can find the majority of the stuff.

I can certainly help you out if you need any mp3s... aim: SirNimajneb0910... I have all of those you are looking for there...

But do be careful... Most CDs now have only 70 or 80 min. recording capability, and you could quickly eat all that space up. You might have to end up making two CDs for Epcot (like I did)... But I think if you are just going to put on it what you have listed, you will have enough space.

You have a good Epcot list, but it could be better... Perhaps why not add in an original, "old-school" EPCOT Center song like Listen to the Land, One Little Spark (older version), Fun to be Free, New Horizons, Tomorrow's Child, The Computer Song, Energy, You Make the World Go Round, or Universe of Energy? For a "newer" CD, you have GOT TO add!:

Ellen's Energy Adventure (score)
HISTA/Imagination Institute Theme (score)
Innoventions Plaza Loop (score)

These three are my absolute favorites, in addition to what you have listed.

Plus, there is the Impressiones de France (score) and Canada (You're a Lifetime Journey) from WS.

You can also find El Rio del Tiempo, the Mexican boat ride through time in WS, in MP3 format. I have it also if you need it.

Well, that's as good a list I can produce. Have fun! If you need any help, aim me. Happy Burning!
:D

DMC-12

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
I have a big heafty list of WDW area music and all kinds of WDW stuff.. at least 2 gigs worth.. :) My car is littered with my wdw cd's I made...lol

I made a CD for Epcot's 20th. It took up two CD's and it didn't even have everything I wanted on it. But I also had full ride throughs of some attractions which took up a lot of space.

Try the newsgroup: alt.binaries.multimedia.disney Somebody there recently posted the entire World of Motion soundtrack.

Some other good sites:

http://www.balgavy.at/som/dpmenu.htm

http://home.cfl.rr.com/wdwsongarchive/email.htm (No music available, but good reference site on what plays in the parks.)

I got a lot of good music by going to Live 365, finding a high-speed Disney station, and plugging a recording device into my computer. Minidiscs are great, but expensive if this is all you use it for!

Making Disney parks cds is one of my favorite hobbies, too! The commercially released cds just don't do it for me. My personal "Best of" compilation is a 2 cd set, and I have made double cds for Horizons, and a number of other individual attractions. Hey, its Fun to be Free!

Hey, I need Help, I've decided to make my first CD a millenium celebration CD, and I have all the songs, but I can't seem to find a really good copy of Illuminations. The only versions I can find are crackly and not very clear. Anyway, If anybody has a really good version of illuminations they could share please im me on AIM at Randlev11.

Thanks a lot!!!!

Ohh, and if anybody has any different versions of celebrate the future, that would be great, too.

I have the "Reflections of Earth" Illuminations if needed. Also, I got the freebie Millennium sampler at CVS...it's just a medley of Millennium music, but does have the best version of "We Go On" I've heard by vocalist Carmen Carter. E-mail me if you want it.
It was free with Energizer batteries, so there shouldn't be any legal issues with sharing the mp3...but that darn bunny might come after us.

Don't forget Popkid's 'enormouse' collection. You can access it by triggering his file server bot on irc. I found a good webpage that explains how to obtain the files. My sig had a direct link to the #disney-central channel if you have Mirc installed.
