ok, here is the story. we are going to the world 12/14-12/19 and we want to make our dining reservations 180 days in advance, but we haven't booked our hotel yet. the reason we haven't bookedthe hotel yet is that we are waiting for the florida resident rates to be released. can we still book our dining reservations 180 days in advance? if not, what do you suggest we do?

thanks in advance,

tracy & alex

I'm pretty sure that you can still book 180 days out and then if your staying at a resort then they also give you an additional 10 days so if you have your resort booked you can book 190 days out.

oh one more question - since it's 180 days can i book my entire trip at the 180 days mark, or do i have to call back every day and make the reservations for the next day?

thanks again,

It depends on the restraunt. If it is a 180 out location you will need to call on that date. I use to work at the res center and I couldn't see the locations if I attempted to book it at 181 days.

First off, I could be totally wrong about this, but I do not think that you can book "general" resturant reservations 180 days out if do not have a booked reservation. When I called a few days ago for our trip in Dec. the agent checked asked for my resevation number before she would book 180 days out.

Unless you have a Disney resort reservation number you must call back each day at the 180 mark. Belle

Anyone can make dining reservations regardless of if they are staying on property or not, 180 days from the day they arrive, for their entire stay (up to 10 days). If you are want to book dining reservations now, call 180 days from the day you want to make the reservation, and ask the agent if you can book other ressies while on the phone, never hurts to ask!

As per Hilda Marie at Dining reservations, Any one can make a reservation for a dining location at 180 days out. Only if you have a confirmed on site reservation number does that number extend to the 10 days beyond the 180 day mark. This is a perk for on site guests only and while you may have every intention of staying on property unless you have a reservation number the system willnot allow them to book it for you. Belle
