You mean the "expansion" that's adding 1.5 new attractions? (.5 if you consider that the Little Mermaid attraction is built directly on top of 20k Leagues).

How many kids (And adults) want to go to disney world? And here we are complaining. How fudging spoilt do we sound.

I think we should all grow up a bit here and realise how lucky we are to have even visited wdw.

why don't we just wait to see how everything turns out before bashing concepts? Then again no matter how great it could be there will ALWAYS be someone who doesn't like it.

It's all the fault of those insipid 5 year-olds and their parents. Bloody conspiracy all around, I tell you.....

Heading for the great escape.
I think they are great, they keep spoiled brats and their insipid parents away from the rides. However they are a poor alternative to proper attractions.

The Magic Kingdom has enough space for both meet and greets and attractions.

If it were up to me...

Skyway station becomes fairies/princess meet n greet.
Cinderella can have one in her castle.
Belle has one being built in the FLE.
Ariel has one being built in the FLE.
DEMO the Tomorrowland Speedway. Build a NEW Toontown with a couple dark rides, a house for Mickey, Scrooge's Money Bin, and a HUGE meet and greet area with room for the Fab 5 PLUS newbies like Pete and Oswald(who are supposedly coming to the parks in a few years...) and Chip and Dale and whoever else Disney feels like throwing in there! There's enough room on that plot of land to do so much more than just have some big stinky old ride take up space.
Then, in doing all of this, they can build a Tangled or whatever dark ride in the old Snow Whites Scary Adventures building. This would be a big time win-win for all. More rides, and more meet and greets.

Pretty humorous thread .. how most people are either way pro or way con re: the M&Gs.
I'd be interested to know the attraction/show to M&G ratio of each park and the whole resort as a whole.

How much do people think a M&G a costs to put up? Do you really think it's replacing a suitable attraction? Ha .. dream on. Hey, I'd like a 100 new attractions per year .. lets do that! Oh, I forgot .. there is a finite amount of money to spend, oops.

I'm not pro M&Gs but c'mon, if you have the option of nothing versus something, wouldn't you rather have something? Before you say nothing, picture yourself with 2 or 3 kids ...

Sure the Mine Ride will be better, but if they have two attractions on the grounds for Finding Nemo then why not Snow White which is the most important movie in the company's history?

That's not a fair comparison.

While WDW has 2 Finding Nemo-themed attractions on the property, they're not in the same park. The ride is in Epcot, while the Musical is at Animal Kingdom.

In the case of Snow White, they feel it would be illogical to have 2 attractions themed to that film in the same park (meaning that they would both be in the Magic Kingdom).

Get my drift?

P.S.: I wonder if Krack-head actually read Master Yoda's post in Page 1 of this thread. If he did, he'd probably to leave TDO alone. Or not.
