Like, just to put a finer point on this, I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s not going to spend thousands of dollars to go on vacation to wait in lines all day. I’m either going to buy LL with my tickets, or not go at all if the price of both combined hits a tipping point.
Fair…

Disneys problem is that tipping point is a sliding scale

The fact we have begun to constantly talk about it on a fan forum is a big fat red alert

And.....

They aren't that good.
I got YC at $363/night. Thats a steal for this caliber of resort anywhere in the world. Holiday Inn Express wants $250/night where I live…

We had Beach Club with the bounceback that I already thought was a good deal. Happy to switch to the “less-desirable” YC to save another $25/night. My kids can handle the boring navy blue paint.

Yeah I have July 4 weekend for $375 at Yacht. Haven't seen sub $400 Deluxes in a while.

I agree, that is a great price for YC.

IMO the whole thing is overpriced now.
If my family were to go from 5 nights at Yacht with 5 tickets and no hoppers it would be $7000. That's not including flight or food.

Or you can stay at Pop early August for 6 nights for $1100 and change and get 4 tickets for 2 adults and 2 kids for $2200 and change. That's roughly $3400 which isn't bad.

It's better but still a lot, especially with the exchange rate. It's close to $5000 Canadian. It's hard to justify when for the same price or close to it we can do 2 other weeklong vacations.

I agree the whole thing is overpriced but I just went on and did this with no discounts on a number of different dates and it came out a good bit less than that each time. What dates did you pick to get it that high?

It was the week of August 10th to the 15th. That's Yacht Club with base tickets
When you add tax and exchange it's close to $7000

Got it, it shows a bit over $4,600 here. The exchange rate was the part I was missing which puts it just over 6600 CAN.
They used to have all kinds of deals for Canadians for discounts. The best they have is a 4 day ticket at $108 a day. That IMO isn't much of a deal.
