We had some nice rain today.

Lightning is a cause when things are very dry, but so are people who toss things out the car window....

The Orlando News said the fire is now under control around 6 PM...Thank goodness!

hey does anyone have any news on that car accident at epcots exit ramp on sat evening. was on the magical express bus back to the airport and drove past it. had to detour through epcots parking lot to get back on the highway. heard that the car hit a poll and rolled down the ditch and caught on fire. when we went past it it was really burning. just was wondering if there was any news on what really happened , if the driver was ok etc.

just arived back from staying in avilla on sunset lakes which is just across the road from were the fire was on the 192, on friday night we couldn't get into our villa for a few hours because of the closure of the 192 at the juction were publix is and the back road also being closed . The fire started about 3pm friday afternoon, we left to get to epcot around 4 and the roads around our villa were aready closed.

Went to Epcot on Sunday and it seemed to be rather well contained at 8:00 AM on 6-11-6. Did it flair up again?

what kind of camera did you take the pics with? pretty good detail for late night and probably a lot of local light near the lens at the resorts.

I hope the rain from Alberto helps put out the fire, and give everything enough moisture to prevent another fire from breaking out for a while.
