I'm sure it has been asked many times, but to what extent are they going to theme those buildings?Couple shots from yesterday (Sunday the 5th)
I have no inside knowledge about that. From what I've read, the answer appears to be "not much."I'm sure it has been asked many times, but to what extent are they going to theme those buildings?
They've started painting a brick pattern on them.I'm sure it has been asked many times, but to what extent are they going to theme those buildings?
some websites maintain themselves thanks to ads generated by clicks on their own webpage.??????
what if its a I.C.E. slushie machine?Chances are since its in caps its probably an abbreviation for something. Although I'm at a complete loss as to what either one of them would be.
Lol. Unfortunately what you're thinking of, it's spelled ICEE.what if its a I.C.E. slushie machine?

Wow...that's ugly. Guess I'm going to see it 1st hand next week
Well to be honest how would they have done it back then?.It's TDO what do you expect with their 'The rubes will never notice' attitude. It is indeed ugly Roy is probably spinning in his grave. Hopefully his shade will haunt Colglazer and the rest of the crowd for the rest of their days.

seriously? they are "painting bricks" on the wall, couldn't even go the strip mall route? or is the stuff McDonald's uses just too fancy? http://brickit.com/start/photos
Ok give me some. Cos as far as I'm concerned putting up walls is what they've always done. And now they put some nice little theming on it.I suggest any good DL/WDW history book for multiple examples of how to do it right.
Well this puts things in perspective. New Fantasyland under construction at Disneyland in 1983.
How long did this take compared to the hub in MK?
It was under Roy's watch that the big blank wall was built in the first place. And what does the President of the Disneyland Resort have to do with this? It's TDO what do you expect with their 'The rubes will never notice' attitude. The pathway was opened during busy times to allow people to move along the northern portion of the park. It was definitely also an advertising gimmick. I think there were also times when the Skyway was a round trip from Tomorrowland, allowing people to see the construction from above.I always love that photo. It's so unnecessary having guests walk through that area as anything that was still open in Fantasyland could have been reached on the walkway by the Matterhorn. I feel as though it was being used to advertise the new Fantasyland.
