Main Street Inspired Room

I want to remodel my bathroom and I want it to have the look and feel of Main Street USA from the magic Kingdom.

I already have a built in cabinet that reminds me of Main Street.

I was hoping to get ideas from the greatest group of Disney experts.
I am even going to hook up audio to the exhaust fan so when you turn the lights on you hear audio.
Any ideas would be welcome,

No Fast Pass jokes please!

Victorian wallpaper.
Decorative switch wall plate with metal flourishes, etc.
Silk plants/flowers.
Some sort of flooring or tiling which approximates cobblestones, brickwork, or maybe even trolley tracks.
Some sort of Victorian rug.
Victorian-style faucets/sinks/etc.
Everything Victorian style.

SirNim basically nailed it: Victorian everything!

Another thing (the bathroom may alreadly have it, but you didn't mention it) you might consider is molding along the ceiling. Also, perhaps find a mirror/vanity that has some kind of decorative woodwork or frame work around it, and if you can find one with a "stressed" look would be even better.

Along the Victorian style, wainscoating.

In fact, you can get faux wainscoat that is like luan plywood. I put this on the celling of one of the bathrooms in my old house. The ceiling looked like a bead board ceiling. Looks sort of victorian, sort of. (I was able to grab a picture of it from a home repair forum I posted it on, I am not in the habit of keeping pictures of bathrooms from houses I used to live in)

Of course it also goes without mentioning that you can get Disney soaps and stuff.

I don't know if you have a window or not in your bathroom, but if you do, take a look at the treatments that are used in the windows along main street and copy one.

Of course if you want to really get insane you could stencil a name on the window as well. "John J Crapper - Waste Disposal" springs to mind. :)

For great remodeling ideas try http://www.hgtv.com/. Check out RATE MY SPACE section and check out TONS of pictures of other people asking for adivice and sharing their homes. Go with simple Victorian style. Don't add tons of accessories or else it will come across as over-load and "trying to hard." Hang up the max--two pictures of MS:USA. Go to a thift/antique shop to pick up a few accessories.

If you're going for audio, my suggestion is to use the MSUSA BGM loop...it's about an hour long though, you may need to cut it down depending on your requirements...

get one of these...
toilet1.jpg

and some neat old glass bottles or tins or something off ebay for cheap, and glue them to a shelf as decor.
Dark molding, and old looking wall paper would be nice.
A copper colored shower head, or basin would be really coool.

and one of these

ps. hope you have a billion dollars.
