Main Street Electrical Parade?

Ok so for whatever reason I have no recoletion of the MSEP and was excited to see that it was still being shown in DL. I have never been to DL and are going on my first trip there on May29th. So I was so excited that I was going to see it bit I found out that it is only shown 4 weeks out of the year, 2 weeks during X-mas, and 2 weeks in July, so I wont get to see it.

To make a log story short, I dont remeber this parade, how does it measure up to Spectromagic?

AMAZING music but the effects are a little laid back compared to S! However, it's nostalgic feel and charm are bound to make a fan out of you.


I would LOVE to see it in WDW again.

I remember loving MSEP as a kid and thus my favorite parade today is Spectro. I just love the nighttime parade with all the lights. It is a magical end to my day in the parks.

Theres more info on the enchanments coming to DEP later this month but it will play for the summer season at DCA not 2 weeks in July.

Oh, man. I haven't thought of the Main Street Electrical Parade in years. I haven't seen Spectromagic ever so I can't compare the two

SpectroMagic wishes it could be MSEP. I've never been a fan of Spectro. It just pales in comparison to MSEP.

I'd give anything to have it back here at WDW.

Disney's Electrical Parade is shown for the entire summer season at Disney's California Adventure. While it's a nice parade and the original, in my opinion SpectroMagic is much more entertaining. Check it out and let us know what you think when you get back.

The lighting and floats for Spectromagic are much more innovative and cooler to look at IMO, but the music and nostalgic feel of MSEP far outweigh the brighter fancier lights.. At least im my mind.

It wouldn't really make a difference to me, considering I'm not a fan of Spectro. I don't watch it now, so why would the prospect of having nothing bother me? Heck, I was a Tapestry fan, and Epcot has nothing in place of it, and that doesn't bother me. It's the same thing.

That's just my opinion, and I do believe I'm entitled to it :wave:

Not any more I checkedcwhile I was booking out dining reservations and they told me the MSEP would be offered for two weeks in July and two weeks in Dec.
