That would be so fun, and maybe the tan lines wouldn't be as awful. It would be far less one-size-fits-all, though, and I bet kids would lose them like crazy.

I still like my pendant and keychain ideas. The ring would be too easy to lose, and it wouldn't fit people right. As for the wristbands, I still love them. Never even knew I had it on until I needed to use it.

I haven't gotten my Band yet either, how heavy ARE those transmitters?

MagicBands are very light. You'll notice it on your wrist until you get used to it, but not because of the mass.

I don't know how much the transmitters themselves weigh, but the entire MagicBand weighs 21 grams with the adult-sized strap still attached.
For reference, a "Livestrong"-style silicon bracelet weighs about 5 grams and my favorite wristwatch, which has a metal band, weighs 108.

In 1997, I took a trip to WDW with my first wife and we went to Typhoon Lagoon. As soon as we got in the lazy river, the water combined with the greasy sunscreen allowed my wedding ring to POP right off my finger. Plus, I'm incredibly nearsighted and packed my glasses in the locker. You know, so I wouldn't lose 'em. Took a half hour walking against the current looking like an idjit, but I eventually found it against...I guess it was a seam in the floor where two pieces merged.

So...yeah, If I indeed have a vote on the rings, I'm gonna vote no on the rings.

The bands are a great way for Disney -verse to keep track of everyone but this summer the whole band/watch tan line is going to be the true disney fanatic ID, so is the belt loop a good option for the bands?
