Hi Heather, There are some Cast Member guides but not as many as there were at DME's inception. Go to the B Side of the airport and down to the Ground Transportation level. Once you get down to the mid level on the escalator, there is usually someone there to direct you to the next scaltor down. Just be sure to ask them which way to turn when you get off the escalator going to the Ground level. As I am remembering it is behind you and to the right. Just double check me. Also there is a small map inside your DME booklet to help you find your way. Have a terrific trip!! Marie

Just remember you have to go to the B side/Terminal. There is no DME counter on the A side of the airport. Found that out the hard way.

so have I!!!! LOL LOL DME did change sides for a little bit in there so it was a little confusing for a while.
Also I Am going to expound on my earlier directions, the DME counter will be behind you and to the right as you step off the escalator, facing the outside roadway area. Once you make the turn around the escalator, it is to your left. Sorry if this sounds confusing, it really isnt. You will find it very easily actually. DME is set up to be very easy to find and use for Disney's guests. I still think it has been one of the single best business decisions Disney has ever done!!! Marie

If you have you ticket for M.E. already do you wait in line or do you go right to the buses we leave in 9 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1) Get off Plane.
2) Take shuttle to main Airport Building.
3) Get down to level 1 (elevator or escalator).
4) Walk way down to the DME area... you'll see signs.

Now, if you HAVE your DME book, and all is well? You NO LONGER need to go to the desk - go right to the bus bording area.

 Have fun.

i think that was answered in the posts above and congrats i am so excited i leave tomorrow morning !!
The DME Line is split into two areas and the DME Personnel will direct you to whichever line is the most appropriate for you. I have gone to both with my DME booklet so it does depend on the sorting they are doing at the moment. Once you get past the first part you are placed on the line for the bus for your resort. Hope this helps! Marie

I have a questions along these lines.

If you are staying on property but do not chose Magical Express when you book your trip can you change your mind. Can you show up at the airport and go to the counter and show them your reservation and have them take you to your resort?

I was just woundering if they would take you or maybe charge you or say sorry.

Anyone have any info on this type of senario

They'll say "Sorry." At least, that's the rules.

Disney's contract with the Greater orlando Airport Authority specifically states that tthey are not permitted to tale walk-ups. It would be a direct violation of the contract to give a DME ride to a registered Disney guest who does not have a Disney's Magical Express reservation.

Disney says the DME reservation for the airport-to-resort ride needs to be made at least 10 days in advance, but I've seen that shaved off by a few days here and there.

And on the opposite end, you *can* book a return to the airport on DME up to the day before you check out of your hotel. That does not have the same restrictions as the arrival side does.

Does anyone know approximately how long it takes to arrive at your Disney hotel from the time you arrive at the airport? I am trying to plan a restaurant reservation for the day we arrive and would appreciate your advice.
