i recently booked my reservation for pop century online for next year, and went to www.disneysmagicalexpress.com to book the transportation from the airport. i got a confimation email back saying it was allset. then today, 3 days later i got an email from "patricia bennett, disney's magical express" saying "please be advised we would not be able to process your disney magical express due to this website is for our wholesale partners". it than goes on to explain that i should call to book it. i called the number (18003272996) but it was a travel agent line and asked for my agent number.
i could swear this website is where i booked last time and had no problem. has anyone else had this problem?
is there another website to do it at?

I had an issue with Magical Express for our trip next month. I was given this number (by a CM at 407-WDisney) to call them directly: 1-866-599-0951. See if they can help. I've always booked through the phone, not on the website.

Not to sound like an advertisement but call Quicksliver tours and transportation
1-888-GO-TO-WDW (468-6939)

They are abour $110 round trip (plus tip) from MCO to most Disney hotels with a free 30 min grocery stop. You can easily fit two adults and 2 or 3 kids in a towncar and it is well worth the money if you can afford it.

Otherwise the ME express number is (866) 599-0951 if you do not have luck with that you should call 407-W-DISNEY reservation center and they will help you out.

Good luck!

We booked our trip through AAA. I assume they take care of the Magical Express arrangements and the tags are sent to us. Is this correct? We didn't use Magical Express on our last visit.

Correct. We used AAA last year, and the DME tags were included with all our other paperwork. We didn't have to do a thing.

It depends on the individual travel agent at your AAA office. DME is free, but it is not automatic. A reservation must be made. If the TA didn't make a DME reservation for you, then you are not signed up for DME! And if you are not signed up then you will be inelgible to use it. Disney's contract with the airport authority specifically forbids DME from offering rides to "walk-ups."

I strongly suggest calling your TA to ask if he/she made DME reservations for you.

About 4-6 weeks before your trip, a DME packet will be mailed to your TA, and then it is up to your TA to get it to you (or to make arrangements for you to pick it up) ... if you use a TA, ALL materials get sent to the TA and not directly to you. You don't "own" the reservation until the moment of check-in at the resort.

I am going to chime in as an agent here. I can absolutely tell you that your agent must make the DME reservation for you. In most cases, I am asked when I am working with Disney if the client wants DME!! This is a great service and I think a very valuable one to the client. The ease of not having to fuss with one's luggage on the Orlando side is pretty amazing!!!!! Definitely call your agent and let them know that you want this feature added onto the trip. Belle
