I have read reviews on other sites about Magical Express Transportation service taking a very long time (up to 3 hours) to get your luggage to your resort room. I will arrive around 3 and do not want to wait so long to get my luggage nor do I want to pack clothes as a carry on for my flight. Question to everyone... is it true? Does it take that long to get your luggage to your room? Could I go get my luggage myself once it gets to the resort? As of now I am using FL Tours for my transportation to and from the airport. Yes I am paying but at least I will have my luggage with me. Any knowledge anyone has on this process will be most helpful.

Use magical express. We got to our hotel at 3 and then left for magic kingdom. When we got back the luggage was there. Why do you want to haul your luggage for. The driver are very friendy. One problem, hard to find the magical express station. No signs. It is downstairs by the retental cars.

Hi Ann, I am REALLY familiar with the DME process and the answer is yes it CAN take up to three hours. I have had times where the luggage has beat me to the room but if you need your luggage with you simply do NOT tag the bags with the yellow barcoded sticker. If you do tag them they will be delivered to DME and will not come out at baggage claim. Proceed to baggage claim, procure all your luggage and then proceed to the lower level of side A of the airport to take advatage of the free transfer service to your resort. Also be aware that the drive to the resort can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours depending, so you may want to consider that if you are under any time constraints. Any questions, please feel free to ask!! Belle

It absolutely takes 2 - 3 hours for your bags to arrive. Unless you need something in your bag, you do NOT need to wait for it. Check into your room and head off to the park of your choice. YOur bags will be in your room waiting for you when you return. Here is what I do -- coming from the wintery north -- I check the weather in Orlando. If it is going to be warm upon arriving, I check my coat inside my bag and I wear something that is light and ready to go in the park. When I get to my hotel, I check in and drop off my carry-on bag and off to the nearest park I go...

I would pack some clothes in my carry on luggage ,the one time you don't is the time the airline will lose the rest of you luggage for a day or two[you can probably guess why I say this].Prepare for the worst and hope for the best is what I suggest.

We just picked up our luggage at baggage claim (we arrived at 7pm on Christmas Eve) and just took them to the bus with us. Once at the resort we waited for a few mins for the bags to be unloaded and we were on our way.
