I am taking a trip to WDW this fall with some friends and family. However, a couple people may fly in a day later than the rest of us. They are not sure yet. They will not have their own room, but be sharing with the rest of us. How do they go about using DME if they fly in a day later than everyone else, but are on the room reservation that starts the day before?

DME is by flight and by room. You would want to make sure Disney has all the correct flight information (at least 6 weeks out if possible) and you will get two sets of boarding information one with the group who arrives on the first day and one without the group that arrives the second day.

You will not have any problems DME.....like above poster said you only need to give them ALL the flight info and you are good!!

I was actually going to post something similar to this but it looks like I don't need to as my question has been answered. Mama and I are flying in on 9/24 and my sister is flying in on 9/26 but she is on the room reservation for the entire time. I was getting a little nervous she would not be able to take the DME on the 26 since she is on the reservation starting the 24th.

DME doesn't have to be a group activity. You can have 4 people on the room reservation, each arriving/leaving on a different day and traveling from/to a different home airport. As long as DME has all of the detailed tavel info, each person named on the reservation will get the full use of DME without any problems whatsoever.
