Magical express pick up?

I know the pick up time changed during the year end holidays and since I was just there in March you think I would remember but I'm going blank. Is the magical express pick up 3 hours before flight?

I am very glad is has been moved back to three hours. In mid December I was pickup up four hours before my domestic flight. It only took us 40 minutes to get to the airport. When we got there, I was told that we weren't even allowed into security until two hour before the flight which meant I had to kill an hour and 20 minutes outside security and then another two hours inside. I personally think three hours is still too much, especially if you have PreCheck, but at least it's better.

I think they adjust the schedule based on the time of year and busy-ness of the airport. Personally, I'd rather be there an hour early then 5 minutes late (missing the plane)

At that time I believe the airport was also having issues with some of their newly-replaced shuttles to the gates, causing delays trying to get from the main terminal to one or two of the satellite gate terminals. Some passengers even missed flights because of them. DME was probably just doing their part to make sure the passengers were there early enough to deal with any potential delays.

In January (Marathon Weekend), they wanted to pick us up 4 hours prior to flight, it actually ended up being 4:10 before the actual departure time. We opted to do Lyft to the airport, got in a few more rides at MK and still made it with plenty of time to spare.

Exactly. It wasn’t for nothing. There were things going on at the airport that prompted this whole 4 hour thing. Guests were missing flights and of course blaming Disney.
