Magical Express luggage tags

Are the tags mailed out to you as soon as you make your reservation, or do they send them to you when your departure dates gets closer. I'm looking into making a January reservation.

The one you were given did not have the Disney pluralized as it should
be. However I am able to look up your reservation for Disney's Magical
Express and currently we have yourself and a Ms. Jennifer Smith arriving
on 10/07/05 Virgin Atlantic flight 27. For departure 10/21/05 we have
you both booked Virgin Atlantic flight 28. The mailing address that we
have for you and where your Airport Transportation Booklet was mailed to
