When you make a ME reservation will you always magical express bus or get the Disney Cruise line Bus sometimes. Because it videos of magical express i see blue seats with DCL Logo on them but the ME video.

If you are asking if you always get a ME bus with a ME reservation(?) then my anwser is yes. Each and every time we had a ME reservation, over 10 times, it has been a ME bus.

We had magical express booked and we ended up taking a Disney Cruise line bus on our trip back to the airport last time. Not sure why (maybe they were short a bus since they were running late, and there was a pretty small group of us?) but we still got to the airport none the less.

Usually it is it is a ME bus, but on days when there are a lot of people plying in at the same time then they will bring out Disney Cruise buses due to shortage of ME buses. Both are nice though

Disney runs Disney's Magical Express. Disney is the brains behind it. They set the policies and procedures.
They subcontract DME buses and drivers, and that subcontractor is Mears. Mears is also the subcontractor for Disney Cruise Line transportation between Disney resorts and Port Canaveral.
Mears is supposed to use DME-branded buses for DME, but when demand is high Disney allows them to use other buses ... better to get people to their resorts on a DCL bus or even a plain white bus rather than leave them stranded at the airport for a long time.
So the answer is NO, you are not guaranteed to have a DME bus provide your transportation. You are guaranteed safe and comfortable transportation. Almost all bus passengers are transported in the DME motorcoaches, but there are exceptions.

Also, the DCL buses are only needed a few days a week, because the ships only go out those 2 or 3 days, so They may just use the extra buses from DCL to help speed up the whole ME process. We have been on ME many times and they Use both and they are the same buses, only a different paint job on them, so You will enjoy the same clean, comfortable ride on either bus. Have fun!

During my last three trips, I have taken the ME buses, a DCL bus and an unmarked Mears bus. I guess those were the buses they had available at the time.. :shrug:

Last trip, we got a regular, full size, yellow and black Mears bus for ME. I was so disssapointed, I wanted the ME bus with the fun character videos they always show. I guess since Mears operates ME, they do that when they are low on ME busses.

Not matter what bus you get, it's a great feeling when you settle into that bus seat at the airport and know that you have arrived and that you are on your way to Walt Disney World.
