Magic Shop on Main Street

I have a complete set of the original View Master reels from WDW. I believe that they were made within a couple of years of the park opening(correct me if I'm wrong). It is awesome to see the 3d pics of how the parks looked around the time I first went there. VERY different in certain areas, very much the same in others.

I remember buying several magic tricks at the Magic Shop and I bought a Hollywood style mask which appears in a horror movie. In fact, the mask appears in one of the clips at the Sci-fi theater. I took care of the mask and it's in perfect condition. I still wear it at Halloween. It's just a slight improvement from my normal face.

The point I wanted to make is that the Magic Shop carried a great selection of masks in addition to the magic tricks.

The shop was on the left hand of Main Street as you head towards the Castle. The front door is still there presently. In fact the store that took its place is currently selling House of Magic vintage t-shirts. The place was very popular and almost every kid wanted the invisible walking dog leash.Magic kits from begginer on up were always on hand. The photo shop (ran by Kodak had three sets and several backdrops. They specialized in old time photos and had a full wardrobe for everyone taking a pic. The train car was second only to the old west style pics.
