Hey all! I was listening to one of my million Disney cd's and there is one song that sounds like it is the show that opens Magic Kingdom...there is the trolley show (clang clang) and another song I cant remember it off the top of my head. Does anyone have anything they can tell me about this...if they still do it, when, where, the best place to see it?? Anything would be so great!! Thanks!:sohappy:

its on mainstrret usa is it called the welcome medly?

the song you are talking about is the Good Morning Magic Kingdom opening medley. You can download if you dont have it from www.dc-torrents.com and search torrents on their site. The title will come up as Good Morning Main Street. If you have any questions just post it.

You have to be at the Magic Kingdom at opening. It's a great way to start your day. We stumbled on it by accident one morning, and try to catch it at least once each trip. It's definitely worth seeing.

Arrive at least 30 minutes prior, the gates open 15 min before, and the show starts 5 minutes till show. If you're talking about the welcome show, it's usually done around 9:30-10ish Travling down Main Street.

Definitely try to catch the welcome show at least once. It's so cute and a great way to start the day at MK. We usually arrive 30-45 minutes before which is fine. And we always find a seat in the middle (across from the Mickey topiary...don't know how else to describe it  ) which is the best place to be for pictures or whatnot.

And don't miss the Trolley Show! We finally saw it in January and it was also great. I believe it runs from park opening to maybe around noon. We saw it twice because we were headed in the same direction as the trolley and they do it a few times as the trolley goes down Main Street.

Enjoy :sohappy:

Thanks so much!! We have breakfast reservations at the Steakhouse in the Contemporary at 10, so I was hoping we could run over catch the opening before we ate since we were up early anyway! Then hopefully we can catch the trolly show...is it just a one time thing or are the scheduled times they perform this?

be aware that the 7:48 show times are for Extra Magic Hours, not nessaceraly on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Otherwise the shows will be at 8:48.
