This time of year always makes for good posts! We have the "When are the Halloween decorations going up?" threads, then the follow-up "When are the Halloweens decorations coming down?" thread. Which of course leads to the "The crane is in place for the castle decorations!" thread, ending with the "The Christmas decorations are starting to appear!" thread!! 
There are two types of Disney fans that come out around now. The Christmas people ( of which I am one, booked my Dec 1st trip ) and the Halloween people!! I enjoy you both and look forward to the pictures for the next 4 moths!!!

I have a small obsession with Decorations at that parks. I love how it takes them a couple days with a lot of people to transform main street from fall to Christmas. Doug is a regular at animal kingdom! Bolt is rarely ever seen!

Is that the lemonade slush from the closed DAK location or is this a Gelato/Shaved ice thing?Part of the village is now open to guests and the menu is visible, I am guessing by the end of this week or Monday it will be open. The menu however is nothing to get too excited about.

FYI in case anyone else was curious: I was at MK this evening and I stopped to see what this was. It was right in the entry of the Theater on Main Street (aka the art store) in a glass display case on the left side. The shiny thing behind the replica ticket book is a 24k gold plated replica opening day ticket and then it also comes with a replica ticket booklet. It's a little set that was apparently made for the 40th anniversary. I didn't see the price because it's in a glass case, but there's a little info paper on the top of the gold ticket case explaining what it is.
