we are getting Another haunted mansion movie, a jungle cruse movie, another 20,000 leagues under the sea movie, And another pirates movie, WoW how could this get better o i know lets make an entire movie on the MAGIC KINGDOM!
This movie will be directed by Jon Favreau The story for Magic Kingdom is essentially a family caught in Disneyland, bringing all of the attractions to life.
to be released in 2013

The next couple of years will be filled with the disney parks on the silver screen!!!

what does everyone think about this i like the ideas but afraid they might destroy the true stories and feeling of the disney parks?
Although the director has met with many people in imagineering (looked at old concept art) and is currently watching everything in the archive!

I'm on the fence about this movie, I'm not really looking forward to "Night at the Theme Park". They might as well cast Ben Stiller now and be done with it, but my opinion might change when I see an actual trailer.

They should just make Kingdom Keepers and be done with it.

Except Kingdom Keepers goes deep into behind the scenes stuff that Disney doesn't want to put on screen. They've turned down the option for a film twice so far for that very reason.

Jon Faverau's film won't delve into things backstage as much, so I imagine that was a far easier sell.

Also: apart from basic premise, Kingdom Keepers isn't very good, and wouldn't make a good movie unless it was a drastic departure from the book. I know, I tried to write a screenplay based on it, and keeping it faithful to the books and making an interesting movie is not easy at all.

Agreed , but the movie in question now doesn't sound very good. Also Jon Faverau isn't the best director in the world. I have a feeling this movie will be pretty lame. They should come to their senses and make a Kingdom Hearts movie.
