Magic Kingdom Rides at Night

Hello,

Does anyone have any recommendations on which rides in MK have a different experience at night than during the day? I can't remember any rides that we rode after dark on our last trip, and would like to ride a few rides after dinner one night.

Thanks!

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad during the fireworks! Great way to impress WDW newbies!

I would have to agree with Big Thunder Mountain and the 7 Dwarfs Mine Ride. Going through the line up to The Haunted Mansion at night can also been a chilling experience.

Climbing the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse after dark gives amazing night time views over MK. Not sure if it would be open during the actual fireworks though.
Oh wow, I never thought of that. I know where I will be heading next trip during the FW. Not sure if it will be open but it's worth a shot.

I agree with everyones posts! BTM, SM, HM, TTA, etc. That said, some of my best nighttime rides in MK were on things I wouldn't otherwise ride during the day (and had never done before).

Three 20-something year olds on a girls trip, laughing and acting like kids in our kingdom, driving around the speedway during the fireworks and flying on the magic carpets singing "through an endless diamond sky" were some of the most fun memories I have!

Echoing what many others have already said the ones that really are great at night are Big Thunder Mtn, Splash Mtn, Jungle Cruise and the PeopleMover. Another one some people forget that is truly amazing at night is the Astro Orbitor. The view if you pull the rocket all the way up is breathtaking at night.

Jungle Cruise is a MUST..
1. Same ride, of course, but very different at night.
2. Guests tend to more in on the jokes and groove along with them and interact with the skipper more. Compared to during the day when the jokes fall flat and it's a must-do because you have to.

Definitely ride JC at night. You won't be disappointed.
