Just saw this new South Florida Water Management district permit for work behind Magic Kingdom. Still digging through the documents to try to figure out what this is. The areas marked C-104, C-101, and C-105 and gravel areas surrounding a small concrete pad.

They definitely look like they could be used for fireworks. C-104 & C-105 are just slightly moved from the current sites. C-101 would be something new.

Edit: It looks like I'm off a bit. C-101 is actually close to the main launch site.

It's not quite 180 degrees at the plans/permits show right now. It's more like 90 (45 to each side of the main launch site) to 120.

Apparently we're getting new Perim. Spots??:
What's wrong with the old ones?

These look to be way more robust than the old launch points. Also, they're inside the road, perhaps allowing traffic to keep flowing during perimeter launches?

I doubt that Disney will keep the road open during an active launch, even with dedicated sites. What these will do is allow them to open the road earlier and will provide permanent infrastructure. Before, you had just a bunch of launch tubes set up in spots inside the MK fence line and used radio control to initiate launches.
