:) ) [/B]

It shouldn't be too crowded up in the honeymoon suite!
;)

I'm pumped up about this, because it really took me by surprise.
The Magic Kingdom is open until Midnight all week on the week before Easter. (Ironically, on Easter Sunday, it closes at 11:00 p.m.)

Check it out:

God, I have memories of being at the Magic Kingdom in that hour after the 11:00 Main Street Electrical Parade, rushing to get in as many rides as possible while cast members would obviously be going into shutdown mode all around.

It is going to be SOOO CROWDED, and we are going to have soo much fun! I love it when the Magic Kingdom stays open so late - it has been years since I was at the park when it was staying open that late.

:sohappy: :sohappy: :D :D :sohappy: :sohappy:

Yeah, last year we had it open that late, but hopefully you wont have any Grad Nites while you are there...very annoying, loud people yelling contstantly....and on the actual Grad Nite they kick you out at 7:00PM but we got our revenge on them :fork: there was a horrible thunder storm closing Thunder Mountain, TISpeedway, Splash Mountain, TTA (error of some kind from the rain) and all other out door attractions...so we were quite happy....I think we may have videod the wonderful lightning strikes from the ferriboat going back to the parking lot....that boat was so full. Also the parks are really crowded but for some reason PoTC never had a line longer then 10 minutes.... so thats kinda sad  anyway getting off topic :p

Those are good times. Midnight rides are the best. If you treat the CM's nice they will sometimes let you ride a few times over. But not allways, you gotta ask. But Midnight in the MK is awesome. There is a thrill of being able to hit any ride you want with a minimal line. And there seem to be a whole lot of sprinting contests about that time. Boy someof these people need to join a track team. But enjoy the time there, itis like no other.

That wouldn't have been the night of April 24th (I think) Would it have? I was one of the chaperones on that night's Grad Nite, and it poured for the entire time, and of course Disney had no rain plan in place, it was Horrible!

Sorry to say but I think it was....The "grads" that I saw had no one around, when I was in Tomorrowland they were so bad that the CMs let us and many other people go on TTA twice around. We had a car or "grads" infront of us on TTA, throwing a shoe back and forth, ending up loosing it...you may have heard about it. We also had groups of "grads" semi cutting lines, we waited for "it's a small world" for I'd say 10 minutes, very long line that day but this was before the actualy grad night, and I'd say 3 or 4 grads went under the queue "barrier" to join their friends, not even caring that the rest of us had been waiting, if they had said something to us we may have said sure, but they didn't care. I remember many other things annoyed my family but I seem to have forgotten them now. All I have to say is more chaperones should go next time...I'm just glad I wont be in WDW for Grad Nite this year...

The "Official" grad night did not start till 10pm, well after park closing. I don't think I will ever volunteer to be a chaperone for that again, it was an absolute mess, and we were supposed to let the groups go off on their own, and the chaperones had their own area set up in Crystal Palace. I think I did one ride on the HM, and it broke down, and then I just hung out in Adventureland Terrace with a bunch of other chaperones (The CMs were wicked nice to our plight, Adv. Land was closed, so as long as we agreed to stay in one place, we were allowed to escape the mad mess in the rest of the park)

Hey everyone-- I know this may be a few posts too late, but I was just trying to update myself on what you all have been saying about the crowds-

I just got back from disney a day ago- I was just there for about three days (long weekend) and I couldn't believe what the parks were like- Usually I go in August when the weather is horrible but I have the time off and usually if you go late enough the crowds are almost nonexistent. I've also been in February before for president's week which is also not too bad considering its not a holiday for everyone. This past weekend (19th-22nd) was absolutely insane. I've never been in a more crowded park. On monday it took me about 30 minutes to GET INTO animal kingdom-- the lines were ridiculous. It was an 80 min wait for the safari by 10am and fast passes were for well into the afternoon...I went over to MK and had a similar experience including waiting more than half an hour for pirates of the carribbean (waits for splash mountain and thunder mountain were about 90 min each)-- even though it was pretty crazy, it was nice to see as well. They must be doing great these last few weeks and in the coming ones as more people have off-- I couldn't imagine how they could possibly fit more people into the parks than they did this weekend... Hopefully their business will really start to pick up. It was great to see so many people! (and btw the weather was beauttttiful!! especially when youre from the cooold northeast!)

in addition, parks were open till 11 on fri and sat...and completely busy (less than during the day but still busy) until closing... I'm glad to see the midnight times! what fun! wish i could still be there for that!
