Magic Kingdom New fireworks show?

My guess is that they are looking for ways to increase night time attendance in the other three parks first. Putting in anything new to MK despite the hub would be counterproductive to spreading the crowds out more evenly.

I would think once RoL opens properly, and the Holiday rush is over they may be better placed to introduce it.

I think making MK even more popular at night now, while there is little reason to be elsewhere would be foolish. In my view a replacement for RoE would make more sense first or if not soon after a Wishes replacement.

Anything new at night in MK is going to be daft if there is nothing elsewhere to compete.

How about the idea of something new at ALL of the parks, you know, to help distribute crowds in a natural way...and to give them something new for all those price increases.

Now that's a novel idea.

(And, no: Dessert parties for $60 do not count as something new, now matter how spectacular the cupcakes.)

Is it likely MK will get the same lighting and fountains as SDL and DLP? MK at least needs search lights.. DL, TDL, DLP, HKDL, and now SDL has them around their castles.

In my opinion they do not need to replace Wishes. Wishes is still an exceptional fireworks show. The Electrical parade should be replaced first. And I hope and pray when it is, that it's not with the horrific Paint The Night parade. I want a proper replacement with a majestic soundtrack and not a Pixar showcase.

The could be something this side of spring but I'm not expecting a completely new show yet.

Good! Taking my kids to Disney for the first time ever July/August... already bummed they will never see Main Street Electrical Parade (a parade that seemed to define my childhood Disney experience), so would have been really sad if Wishes would have been going away too...

I really loved those fireworks. The castle "under attack" was a great sequence. Wouldn't hate them bringing that back.

I thought the show was nice, however it was the summer after I first went to Disneyland and saw Magical. It just didn't live up to that show. Disneyland knows how to put on some amazing fireworks shows that don't grow stale.
