i am watching disneywebcams.com and orlando-webcams.com right now at the same time and it is painfully obvious that one is not live! the building covers in the background of one are not in the other. what's up with that? which is truly live?

The WDW one has audio but it's really really low. I can hear the train whistle every so often.

I have my speakers cranked and YouTube volume up.....I don't hear anything on WDW. DLR, however, has excellent audio.

is there more than one link for WDW?

No, just one cam at WDW, and it's a live YouTube stream:

Very strange. I can even hear the Dream Along with Mickey show going on in front of the castle right now, and mine aren't even cranked up at all.

I love these live streams. I rember years ago someone had one off the balcony for the week they where at bordwalk. So nice just watching the friendship boats come and go... I sat there for hours watching n listening to it in the backround. They should have these all the time!

Have both feeds open (in the case of DL, clicking through the various angles) on my second work screen and a couple things stand out.
  • WDW looks to have the nicer day. Clear skies and sun compared to DLR's rather gray sky (early marine layer maybe?)
  • DL has a LOT more trees. It's not even close in terms of foliage.
  • Even with substantial crowds, DL runs multiple vehicles up and down its Main Street (just saw 3 go by in the last 30 seconds). Meanwhile the MK struggles to do one.
  • Not really a fan of the pale blue/purple bunting for the Diamond Celebration at DL. It's kinda depressing looking.
  • DLR's multiple stream of good image quality cameras is far superior to the single somewhat fuzzy YouTube one for WDW. If you ever needed a look into how the two resorts' mindsets differ, this is a pretty clear example.
  • The one advantage I have seen thus far with the MK camera is that people know where it is at and can wave and interact with it. Haven't seen anyone do that with the DL Main Street ones.

The Main Street vehicles is one of the things I bring up when comparing the two. People will defend that they "run at WDW"...yeah, but only for a very short period in the morning (aside from the horse drawn carriage).
