Disney has proven time and again they have no idea what they are doing. It's because you have people trying to manage it who are NOT technology people, and a browbeaten IT crew, I suspect...

I swear to god, I would punch their IT guys if they really were using a single 100Mbps ethernet (not full duplex) line, and then connect the camera to their already shared infrastructure with no proper routing for efficiency :|

World of Color is going to be really disappointing.

Many large companies snip the balls off their IT departments. Disney is no different.

I don't think that the Disney IT people are incompetent, it's just that they are not appreciated or supported.

One of the reasons I enjoy working where I do is I carry a very large stick (no pun intended) politically in my company, and I can, to a large degree, dictate behaviors and investments to match IT needs.
