Also, posted in DHS thread and also relevant here:

They are definitely reviewing ride photos manually to avoid any unmasked shots getting out into the public. We are expecting ride photos to show up 5+ days after they are taken. Ride capacity for the 13 total rides that offer photos is about 20,000 people per hour, photos range from 2 persons (Buzz) to 20+ persons (Tower of Terror), so I'd estimate that we are talking about at least 3,000 photos per hour. Even though rides are running at reduced capacity, the cameras have not been reprogrammed to only shoot when people are onboard. That's quite a few pictures to be looking through with very close attention to detail (especially since many masks are made to look like actual mouths). I'll be impressed if ride pictures are even showing up within a week of being taken.
Yeah, mine just showed up now from yesterday morning

Just got the first one of ours from Wednesday (on Friday afternoon). Haven't gotten the others from Wednesday, yet. And certainly not those from Thursday.
I'll add - what made it obvious what was happening was that the photopass photographer ones came within 10 minutes like always

I think you're right that ride photos could take days at times.

So if you just happen to have all your ride photos taken, and someone in the car, boat or whatever doesn’t have a mask on, you won’t get it? I’m talking about if you were just not that lucky and had another person or family in every shot without a mask. Or can they just photoshop out the people with no mask and have a photo for you? Bit confused here.

That’s already the case if you ride with someone that breaks a park rule. For example... a non-family friendly hand gesture.

With all the empty seats the odds are in your favor now vs. normal times.

Splash never came back. Did you see the wait time chart?

I swear I saw something posted somewhere from that day of someone saying they were on the ride when it was stuck. Can't find it now, but I definitely remember seeing it and saying "Oh! That explains why everyone was saying it was down!"

Then again, I watched a stream of MK and Epcot that popped up in my suggested videos on the day of Epcot's opening. I'd watched their MK opening day stream earlier. I was SHOCKED at how tight the crowds were. Everybody who had complained about that aspect was right. They were bunched up for rope drop and walked as one solid mass.

Then they went on the Jingle Cruise. They're offering that like they are Food and Wine as an early incentive? Odd.

Then I realized it was from eight months ago.

The Splash thing could have been a similar situation.

Headed to Disney tomorrow! MK is our first park there! Super excited!!

We have been at the Universal the past 3 days and it has been wonderful. Mask are being worn and I hope the social distancing in lines last forever. Low crowds and short lines! Universal is doing a great job.

The whole photo is deleted.

Just returned from 6 days. MK for 3. AK for 1. HS for 2. Mask compliance was high 99%+, but people also broke rules at some of the worst possible times. Masks off in queues with no cast members around, since they couldn't be seen. On dark rides in enclosed spaces (people in front of us on our boat did this on Navi and Small World). Lots of pulling them off at the end of the day leaving the parks, like they're getting off work and taking off a tie. Disney is trying for sure and I saw improvements, but the behavior also seemed to worsen over the course of my 6 days there. Cast members also seemed hesitant to address it directly. Several times I saw someone with a mask on their chin ask a cast member something or walk right by one, and no mention of the mask being down. I only saw it directly addressed twice. I also saw distance directly addressed in several queues where CMs were monitoring, but more where it wasn't. Social distancing was decent in lines and empty park areas, but non-existent at other times. Walking into walk on queues, people were coming up right on our heels. People were up against each other in stores and in lots of public areas (especially at HS). I found myself literally dodging people or having to walk away because they would walk right up to us. And finally, a handful of groups who decided to pull the mask down, slowly sip on a drink, and walk as an unmasked mob through the park.

Unfortunately, if you have any concerns about your safety, you will have to self advocate. Constantly on guard and constantly telling people to back up or put their masks up while near you. The times I did this, people became highly agitated and it kind of drained the fun out of the experience. Glad I tried it on this unique time, but it honestly turned me off to the parks for awhile. Usually, I'm planning the next trip before I get on my flight home. This time, I feel like I might just put it all on hold indefinitely.

Thanks for your review!
Some of what you said is the reason I keep pushing my DVC vacation further and further off. Now it’s January. I know how to stay safe but unfortunately some don’t and I really don’t want to deal with that. Glad you had some fun though!

A fairly empty fantasyland. A light drizzle earlier but currently dry. Most outdoor attractions still closed.

This has been my fear all along with the restrictions...it's just not the magical time that people expect and pay for when they come. Once reality of the masks hit and you have to face reality of wearing one for 8-10 hours , it becomes pretty unbearable. The other piece that I have been warning leadership about is the PTSD from children in the 5-8 year old range of remembering how they were not comfortable and the parents yelling at them for a full week while at Disney to "KEEP YOUR MASK ON". This is not could become a long term dissatisfy-er with a new generation. I kind of saw it here in this post...

I understand why they opened and the company is in need of cash but if these measures are "required" too much longer then the Disney that you all love is going to be gobbled up by draconian cuts or worse. Bob C has his hands full and I hope the cast that is left after the "purge" are ready to deal with it.

After reading your review, my own conclusion is that unfortunately, some people are just irresponsible. Disney is doing it's best in providing the safest environment possible. Thank you for sharing your experience.

As I was reading this, I heard a cast member correct a mask.

As for the kids, I’m not traveling with any but I‘ve made a mental note to see how kids deal with it. I haven’t seen any fuss with it, and some are quite small. For the most part it seems that they legitimately don’t care or don’t notice. I’m aware some kids have sensory issues and that’s not the group I’m speaking about. Overall I think the “poor kids“ spiel doesn’t have much validity. Kids are much more resilient than adults give them credit for.
