Distancing on jungle cruise. You have to watch it because the marks are not necessarily space 6' apart least 6' apart and sometimes a lot more than that so that you've never have to stand next to another person in line Notice how the entire middle portion of this cue is not being used

Here's another example of those distancing marks notice how the mark on the right is pretty far away from the next mark up so that nobody has to stand next to another person in the queue

Mini quick report from a newcomer to Magic Kingdom, in the park right now. Holy crap this day so far has been AMAZING. Walked on 7 dwarves, space, Winnie the pooh, carousel of progress, buzz lightyear, pirates, hall of presidents.... and a couple more and it is only 11:45am. So happy right now, no issues so far.

That's not good for the cast members. Less cast members are needed for the operation.

So... you want fuller employment so that more can get paid?

If one was running a business in charge of budgets and payroll, is that a good thing?

But you want less employment so the business makes a profit?

No other company holds anything like Disney’s place in global pop culture - even referring to it as a “company” downplays it’s cultural significance. Disney is essentially a synonym for family entertainment. Disney is so integral to understandings of the USA that we talk about things being as American as apple pie and Mickey Mouse. A pilgrimage to WDW is an essential component of middle-class identity. Disney controls Disney animation, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel - brands with almost religious followings.

For the most part, I prefer Universal to WDW at the moment. I complained when they opened. But not to recognize the towering symbolic significance of Disney and of the opening of WDW, especially on a WDW board, is odd.

Sure. I get that. I’m mostly calling attention to the hypocrisy. We all agreed at the time that Disney didn’t seem to want to open. But did when the other parks forced their hand.

This sounds insane, but I had a similar issue this past week in 97 degree temps - rubber band a cold/frozen bottle of water to the phone as a heatsink. It held my phone's temp down through a 2 hour Zoom session on a Civil War battlefield on Friday.

Its more of an issue with my Gimbal and the phone. The Gimbal is gray and the phone is rose pink. If I had a larger non-iPhone I am sure it would have been better.
