Magic kingdom is having a bad morning

We're supposed to be so sympathetic to someone who's main problem is that a theme park ride broke down?
It seems reasonable to me. People pay a lot of money to go to these parks. Sure going to theme parks is a luxury, but if I go to a steakhouse for example and order a $80 steak and they burn it, I'm not going to just shrug it off and say "well at least I'm not at work" same goes here.

I'm sorry your day is not going as you had hoped! :( I understand that after months (and maybe even years) of waiting to get back to WDW, it can be built up in your mind to be a place of perfection, and so it can be frustrating when it doesn't meet your expectations. I have had that feeling myself. :( Since the issues are outside of your control, though, the only thing you can do is try and focus on the positives. And, I guess remember that it can only go up from here, right?? :)

Go to Customer SErvice and they'll get you a FP or two.
That will make it better.
Disney rides stop on a daily basis and it happens to just about everyone...and most are OK with it. The ride starts and you move on to the next one only to get stuck again :p

When a ride at Universal stops, people freak out. But guests are immediately offered a re-ride even for something as little as a 30-second stop.

Should read Disney & Universal rides stop on a daily basis. As for the re-ride, that typically happens only if requested at both Disney & Universal.

In the Parks
No
By 8:30 I’ve already seen monorail gray pull into TTC with TWO doors open, only for it to drive away empty having sat there for 5 minutes. Then arrived to the park for EMH to find Adventureland and Frontierland completely closed till 9am. Got on buzz and it broke down. Stuck for 15 minutes.

Coincidence that OP experiences some bad stuff, and the parade dragon CATCHES ON FIRE :devilish:
