I recently made a reservation for the Plaza Gardens viewing option and received an email this morning stating I would be refunded $20 as I'd overpaid by $10 per guest. I presume they changed the costs online before announcing the increase, leading to a refund in the difference? I'll be honest, I wouldn't have even realised, so I was surprised!

Last week I booked the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing for six guests for June 5, 2018. The total charge was $358.00. Within a day or two of booking I received a call from the mouse explaining that there was an error with the pricing on the website, and that I will receive a refund on my credit card for around $50.

Edit: I was typing this while the above when nicb88 posted. Interesting to get a refund from Disney.

So I'm not the only one! Good to know they're doing the right thing and refunding, no matter how little an amount it seems!

Is the dessert parties worth the price and price increases? For that price I would expect something more than cookies, brownies, and desserts I don't eat, and punch! Just sayin, never did the dessert parties...

We are doing it this trip due to the size of our group and age spectrum. We want to be sure to have a clear view of the show and not have to camp out hours before. Ages 7-70. We're splurging on this one to show Grandma (my Mom) a good time. ;)

To be honest, the food offerings look mediocre to put it nicely.

We used to watch Wishes! from the Tomorrowland Terrace about 10 years ago for around $20 for our family. That was the cost of the Mickey Ice Cream bars we'd eat while watching. ;) But remember - Everything you used to be able to do, you can still do - It may just cost you an arm and a leg, pound of flesh, and your first born to do it.
