What were your dates?I recently made a reservation for the Plaza Gardens viewing option and received an email this morning stating I would be refunded $20 as I'd overpaid by $10 per guest. I presume they changed the costs online before announcing the increase, leading to a refund in the difference? I'll be honest, I wouldn't have even realised, so I was surprised!

Last week I booked the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing for six guests for June 5, 2018. The total charge was $358.00. Within a day or two of booking I received a call from the mouse explaining that there was an error with the pricing on the website, and that I will receive a refund on my credit card for around $50.

Edit: I was typing this while the above when nicb88 posted. Interesting to get a refund from Disney.

So now if Disney overcharges then refunds the difference, it's pixiedust?Seen several similar posts elsewhere! Nice sprinkling of pixie dust for you.

We are doing it this trip due to the size of our group and age spectrum. We want to be sure to have a clear view of the show and not have to camp out hours before. Ages 7-70. We're splurging on this one to show Grandma (my Mom) a good time.Is the dessert parties worth the price and price increases? For that price I would expect something more than cookies, brownies, and desserts I don't eat, and punch! Just sayin, never did the dessert parties...
I thought about doing the Wishes Dessert party back in 2010 when it was $21.99 for Adults and $11.99 for kids...and thought it was too much then. So, is the Dessert Party 400% better than it was 8 years ago to match the price increases?
