So, is HEA gone forever? :/

HEA has some huge dynamics to consider. It's very well-received and the popularity itself may have killed nighttime parades at MK (and saving WDW some operational expenses). The next fireworks show will have a very high bar.

The problem with HEA, is you have to be in the vicinity to watch it. The show itself relies way more than straight pyro. (Note - Still wondering how Disney Enchantment is going to work, since you'll want to be on the front of Main Street now to see the whole thing.)

It's hard to believe they will restore a show that sits dormant for 18 months, but not impossible. I think at the very least, it will be modified or plussed.

I'd put it at 50/50.

New? Yes. But a slightly altered Paint the Night would be very easy to pull off as a last minute “oh $h!t, we need a parade!”

Right, I should have said a new, purpose-built parade for MK, not a borrowed one. But I love the "last minute" example. 🤣

I can't help but recall overhearing a conversation at DL in 2016, where there was much lament about how poorly WDW treats/treated parade floats and lack of float maintenance facilities in Orlando.

Yes but that decision should have been set in stone by now and in the shipping stages to get that over and ready to go by October, no?
I said the same thing I think a bunch of pages back, I think Disneyland had ~3 months from MSEP shipping out of MK to premiere date in DL. But PTN is much more technical IMO and May take more time to get ready for a premier this fall at MK

Tick Tock lol. And trust me we will likely know if and when any of those floats roll a inch out of DLs warehouse and then roll a inch into WDW property. I doubt that will escape anyone’s radar 🤣.

With so many dates for Halloween Boo Bash, will they still do fireworks on 'Boo Bash' days? Since it doesn't look like they're going Halloween Fireworks this season.

I'm currently at MK on a Boo Bash day, so I hope we still get fireworks.

The consensus seems to be "yes" Boo Bash has no special fireworks, so it's suspected to be HEA/DE at closing time. Regular guests get it before they leave, and DAH get it if/when they come in at the early (7pm) time.

Don't really understand why they don't add the same projections on buildings in other areas to spread out crowds. They do that in DL, no?

I'd imagine they'd modify it to utilize the new tech. But it is very popular so unlikely they develop a new show; especially since it would be the 3rd new show in only 5 years (highly unlikely). I guess the alternative is that DE is permanent; which depends on how anniversary heavy the theming of it is.

I know better but I'll do it anyway............Do you have one of Martin's Clocks and starting it right now???

And if Martin begins to Tick Tock about a night parade I will fall over!!!

Omg I was just drinking water and spit it all over when I read that 🤣🤣🤣

Oh I know that. It's just that after 5 years, COVID, everything else It's hard to fatom that the 50th, 10/1 could still be the goal!
ESP since we still don't have FOF's date yet. Unless MK is planning FOF in the evening and the 50th Cal. during the day?

I can’t talk about Enchantment I’m afraid. Not even an “imagine that.”
Heck, I’m just a commoner, an outsider, a ham and egg-er who’s been bringin’ cheese to MK since Spring of ‘72…but I do believe, the Man from Manchester, the Sleeveless Sage, just said in typical cryptic fashion, while answering the question, “Will DE replace HEA?”…
imagine that
🤷🏻‍♂️😉
