It has nothing to do with any concerns about covid. It’s all about performers who have been displaced and are currently fillings roles at resorts, merch stores, etc. Until they can fill those roles, they can’t have the entertainment cast return to their regular roles.
I mean that’s definitely a convenient excuse and was the case for awhile but it’s not anymore. Regardless about 100 performers are on furlough still, the rest displaced. Between CPs and the hiring spree they’ve been on they can afford to lose them now. The company is just fine with not spending the money on entertainment.

Yeah and Tokyo was running Dreaming up with no dancers. Just floats with characters. If there’s a will there’s a way. At least it sounds like Disneyland plans to bring parades back. How embarrassing that will be if they have the practically brand new Magic Happens back for October and MK has nothing for the big 50th.

Exactly. They haven’t really changed their ops since reopening a year ago. A few additional shows have opened, but nothing huge. They still don’t even run all of the cavalcades at MK seven days a week. Only Mickey and the princesses are every day, the rest are dark two days a week. And they have the staffing to run them all every day, they just don’t.

And yet they have to keep upping capacity at WDW! We eat this all up.

Unfortunately TDR hasn't been successful yet with Dreamlights, or TDS' new Night Show

Maybe the 50th Cal. is all the MISI Floats?

Yeah seems like TDL isn’t doing so well still with the pandemic. Curious how HKDL is doing? I know they just debuted a new castle daytime show. They still haven’t brought back Flights of Fantasy or their own PTN.
