I mean that’s definitely a convenient excuse and was the case for awhile but it’s not anymore. Regardless about 100 performers are on furlough still, the rest displaced. Between CPs and the hiring spree they’ve been on they can afford to lose them now. The company is just fine with not spending the money on entertainment.It has nothing to do with any concerns about covid. It’s all about performers who have been displaced and are currently fillings roles at resorts, merch stores, etc. Until they can fill those roles, they can’t have the entertainment cast return to their regular roles.
