No one can ever have too many friends.
He might find a few here.
But he doesn't understand this. He's a big theme park Junkie...but he doesn't understand this. Makes fun of me all the time for my love of Disney. I'm sure he would make a few friends...but you have to be receptive to doing that.

Maybe he SHOULD talk to Dan!

He already thinks I'm crazy going on the Disney boards...imagine if I actually tried to get him to come on here with me!
I remember when I first admitted it to myself, I would read various articles. One was this article about Walt being "alternative" . The proof of this was because a lot of his animation would show the rear ends of people. Apperantly this was proof. Not to mention how liberal the company was.
I finally gained me some smarts (not much, but some) and found out how much hog wash this article really was. But back then I had no place to turn too, and any articles (no matter how misguided it was) was gospel. But I had it easier than many people before me. I can only imagine, and from some of my older friends, how life used to be.

Sneaky lunchtime hello. :lookaroun

Got your PM Dot, sorry you won't make it! But I understand...it will be a fun night but by no means relaxing...D-town gets soooooo crowded on First Friday. I'm actually kind of dreading it but the kid are so excited!

Sorry about your bro not feeling good and being sad, Nibbs!

And Hi Dan!

Very true. I'm actually really glad we live in a society that is at least a bit tolorent and acceptive of that lifestyle. I definitely couldn't imagine how awful it would have felt back in say the 1950s or so when it was just so not talked about. Times have definitely changed in the past 50 years.

Well, I need to run and get my hair cut. I had to make brownies because someone (George  ) forgot about his appointment and needs to beg for forgiveness.
Though she is used to us forgetting our appointments.

*gets on soapbox*:

Some people on these boards need to get a LIFE! :hammer: :hammer:

Yaaay the wand's coming down.....woo hoo.....moving on. I'd go to WDW anyway.
I kind of agree. I didn't care one way or the other for the wand...but some of these people are talking like it's the second coming of something. Like taking the wand down is gonna put Epcot back to the way it was in the 80s. Truth be told...the 80s Epcot sucked. I hated it when I was a kid. I liked Figment and that's the only thing I even remember from Epcot. I actually like TT, M:S, Soarin, and all the new attractions. I'm sure I'll like the Nemo ride and Gran Fiesta too. They are making Epcot edu-tainment and to me that's fine. I still learn something, but I'm not bored to death. Epcot is actually becoming a bit fun to me. It's something that I at least semi-enjoy now.

But removing the wand is not going to do a darn thing about returning the theme park back to the boring park that all these people think was fun before.
