Laconic!
Vincent?
Greetings from Savannah, GA!!!
I'm in my hotel room off I-95. You know, there is absolutely nothing between Richmond, VA and Savannah. Also, southerners drive really slow. "The speed limit is 70. Why are you going 60?!" *blows past the Mustang with my Corolla* Also, how come people in North Carolina have accents but people in Georgia don't? At least the ones I've seen so far.
I'll arrive in Orlando tomorrow!!! :sohappy:

How exciting!
And listen, Philly boy...you could learn a lesson from those Southrons...slow down and take it easy!
But I wanna get to Orlando!

I think it probably has to do with the way I-95 slants. Driving on 95 in the Carolinas takes you inland, where nothing is. Georgia's 95 is all along the coast (i.e., tourist areas and highly developed places like Savannah.) The more development, the less redneck accent.
Probably a more thoughtful answer than you were looking for, but that's my theory.
Hmmm....

I know. How great does it feel to have made such a life changing decision and follow through with it?
If I were to be honest I would admit I'm rather jealous of your bravery.
That's another trait about interstate driving, Amy. You have plenty of time to think about pointless things like this. :lookaroun
Brave doesn't always mean right though. I think my adventure in California earlier this year proved that. But you know, as scary as the unknown is, I just can't accept just staying back and not knowing.
Anyone else ever watch British Parliament on C-SPAN? :lookaroun
(Oh...Well, me either)
