Good morning.
I will not be leaving my couch for the remainder of the morning How historic!
Watching too...
Good morning.
I will not be leaving my couch for the remainder of the morning How historic!
I think it would be tons of fun to be there right now.
Something you'd never forget, that's for sure.
If it wasn't so cold, there'd probably be even more people...if that's even possible.
I just can't even fathom standing outside the Lincoln Memorial, effectively unable to see the Capitol... CRAZY! But I guess it's better than sitting in my living room!
I'm kind of enjoying the heat coming out of the vents in here right now.
But I get what you mean.
It's about being a part of history, even if you can't actually see it.
Exactly.
But I guess that just being a live makes me part of history too.
I'll be able to tell my grandkids that I watched the first black president get inaugurated
 Those little girls look so beautiful
It was perfect!Beautiful invocation.
And yes...the girls are little dolls!
omg I love Aretha's hat!!! I have a thing for bows
 I thought I saw one in there somewhereWas there a bow? :lookaroun
It was gorgeous! Parts of it sounded familiar to some of the church hymnsGosh, that was perfect! Does John Williams ever get it wrong?
So beautifully performed.
 I thought I saw one in there somewhere
Greetings, my fellow Americans. Been live blogging the inauguration. Check it out:

And how are you all?
Hi Amy!
I'm reading your blog in between things on tv.
I appreciate your views (and your humor!), some of which I agree with and some not.
I guess I choose to look for the positives on this day.
We need to be able to hope.
hi love!
I never assume people will agree with me...nor does it bother me when they don't.
We do need to be able to hope...and I do see a lot of positive in this day...but as you can tell from the blog...not a fan of the New Pres. However, I will support him as the POTUS and pray for him, but I'll never be silent when I disagree with him. You'd never catch me saying I was ashamed to be an American, regardless of who was in office.
I really really really should be doing laundry...
You speak your mind.
And I admire that about you.
We can be hopeful, proud Americans together, regardless of our opinions of the new president.
Now go do that laundry!
Wait...
Mine's waiting to go into the dryer, too!
